Ultima Online

Many people are familiar with Ultima Online (UO), and know that for the most part it is a paid for game.

However, one can play UO without paying for it on free server shards. The game concept is pretty straight forward with cool graphics and numerous profession options.

Many people have also noticed that UO has gone through many changes and several "evolutions". From these were born the many free server shards available for playing in. Some are ok, most are not. For a more balanced game we have found a good free shard to lurk around in.

Felucca Reborn

We took a look at this shard and have thus far been impressed with it.

Based on a felucca rules set using renaissance pvp mixed with AoS pvm, the game has found a comfortable world for UO fans who don't like being bogged down in complex rules and lack of control.

The front page of the Felucca Reborn website sums it all this way, "We have seen both the glory of OSI and the triumph of a few select free shards. But, they have all blinked out of existence and left us cold and shivering in a world of split facets and power scrolls. We united under a common ideal, and built this shard. The world of Ultima Online is a vast pool of potential. Out of it, we hope to fashion an oasis and through the traffic of others like us transform it into a thriving refuge..."

If you would like to slay dragons, craft items, join guilds and war on others.... or maybe just run around exploring the world you'll have to download the game. (if you don't already have it)

You should not create an account  through OSI, instead, you should download UOgateway from UOgateway.com. After downloading the uogateway you can connect directly to the felucca reborn shard.

In the uogateway choose "new local server" and input the the following ip address : 38.118.140.147 then the port : 2593 click on save setting s then go to "my servers" and click on Felucca Reborn. Give yourself an account name and password (this will create your account) then adventure away!

Once your in be sure to join the forums in website and tell them Charles Magnus (my character in the shard) sent you.
